If you’re a fan of the American comedy show Parks and Recreation, you’ll get the reference. If you love delicious dressings that you can smother green veg/rice/fish/basically anything in, you’ll get the sauce. We’ve tried it on avocado on toast (well good), drizzled on spiced lentil soup (really great), poured over warm brown rice and topped with smoked trout and greens (really, really delicious) and don’t see any reason why you shouldn’t try it on all sorts of other things. Report back!

YIELD: Makes approx. 250ml – roughly 10 to 20 portions, depending on how you use it.


60ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil

25g Tahini

50g Chickpeas

1 Garlic clove, crushed

60ml Cold Water

45ml Lemon juice

¼ tsp Turmeric

10g Marmite



Blitz all the ingredients together until smooth. That’s it!

The sauce will keep in the fridge for ages, just give it a really good shake before you use it.
